Hayley stepped out of the bright yellow taxi after giving the driver the money. She worked out after a few minutes that the driver ripped her off and didn't give her enough changed, she watched the car pull away. She tried shouting but it didn't work, the car was gone before she could even blink. Hayley's beautiful smile disappeared in seconds, her lips didn't curve in the slightest. It wasn't that she didn't have enough money, she just didn't like people ripping her off. 'Oh well, this can't spoil my night.' Thought Hayley so she put on a fake smile and walked into the club.
She was blinded by the strobe lights that caught her eyes, she made a small 'Ouch' noise and then walked to the bar, she took a seat and looked at the bartender. "Vodka and coke, please." Hayley said, without flashing a smile.
Hayley's eyes scanned the club to see if anyone she knew was out, at the moment she didn't recognise anyone. But she was sure that someone was bound to come sooner or later.

[ Ruki ] THE REVERSE SIDE OF BEAUTY Ruki leaned against the counter at the bar, slight anxiety risng inside him. He didn’t expect to be recognized by anyone – he knew a few people who enjoyed the club scene, but it was likely that even if they were there they wouldn’t expect to find him there. He wasn’t the sort who was likely to try and get into these places. In fact, Ruki was surprised his false I.D. had worked at all. But then, he was wearing enough makeup to hide his true age. That and his outfit was a tad wild, so it was likely that even if he were suspected to be underage he’d be looked over. He stood out to much, after all.
Ruki’s dark eyes dragged over the walls and corners of the club, wondering what he could possibly do now. He didn’t enjoy the taste of alcohol, and he didn’t feel like testing his I.D. any more than he had to. Why did he come here? He preferred the quiet, relaxing park or his own room where he could work quietly. But then, plenty of new ideas were surrounding him. Here he witness a wide array of both class and slobs, and therefore there was plenty for him to look at and plenty of new styles for him to experiment with once he returned home. Which would likely be sooner than later, considering he figured he didn’t fit in there at all.
The young man kept his lips slightly pursed as he usually did, though now it was out of habit which he would have appreciated if he were aware he was doing it in the first place. He’d started the little habit to hide the all-too-present dimples in his cheeks, and pursing his lips hid them from view. And while it also gave his face a leaner, more feminine appearance he found the look worked for him. After all, he’d often been mistaken for a girl even before he’d gone about hiding those dimples. Even now he found himself being examined by the odd male, and if they were close enough he could see their expressions in the half-darkness, clearly wondering the gender of that androgynous-looking lone figure by the bar. He smirked slightly. Yes, the darkness of clubs could be the instrument of embarrassment if people weren’t careful. Especially because alcohol often made people shed their inhibitions.
Finally, Ruki turned his head slightly, getting ready to look to the bartender and ask for a simple soda or something of the like. Perhaps ginger ale… he could do without the added sugar of cola. Though he also did need to be sure he had enough energy to change once he got home. No telling what smells his mother might pick up on. And if she found out where he’d been or even suspected, he’d be in all sorts of trouble or end up with extra things to do around the house. As his father said, he didn’t exactly pay rent. And while Ruki wished he could argue with that because he was their child, he didn’t enjoy being threatened with the prospect of being kicked out.
As he turned around with a deep sigh, clearly not enjoying himself, he saw a young girl. He didn’t know how old she was, but it couldn’t hurt to be a bit more sociable given his present atmosphere. “You look a bit young to be drinking,” he said, after hearing her request for vodka and coke. He flashed a slight grin automatically, believing that his statement was fine. A stereotype for women seemed to be that they all liked to be considered young looking as it were, anyway.
