&. Rules
[01] Respect everyone or else you will no longer be welcome here.
[02] Any fights or arguments that are taken outside of roleplaying and continue after a talking from a staff member will result in the partakers having a temporary ban.
[03] Maturity is a must on this site. It is overall rated PG-13 but as most will know, things in threads can be rated a bit more mature. So no giggling or sneering at rated M threads.
Onto Roleplaying.....
[04] Posts must be at least one paragraph equally a good one hundred words. This isn't much. Once you get going, you will probably end up posting more. If you feel you cannot post this much, do not bother posting until you can. I do not want to see unfinished posts and it only being under one hundred words. I will check!
[05] Roleplaying is in third person since you are not your character. You are simply portraying them in real time. If anyone has an issue with this and feels that they cannot post in third person then please speak to me.
[06] Your character must have a human face. It doesn't necessarily need to be a celebrity. It can be a model, yourself, or anything of that nature. Do not post pictures of your friends as your character unless they have given you permission to.
[07] Swearing is allowed. However, killing, raping, guns, or god-modding is not allowed and will not be tolerated. NO MARY SUES OR GARY STUES!!!!
[08] You are allowed an endless amount of characters.... if you can keep up with them all. My only rule is that each one is on a separate account. There is no need to activate your account so you can use a fake email address if you'd like.
[09] If a thread is done or has died or a character has been deleted that was taking part in it, let me know and i will lock and move the thread to the vault for viewing pleasures only.
Onto the other things....
[10] Inappropriate material will be removed and an automatic warning given. I will not tolerate any inappropriate links or pictures. Not only is it rude but it also violates the ProBoards TOS.
[11] There are boards for almost everything here. No need to ask where to post an ad, a link, a picture, a question. Take some time and look around. It's the only way you'll be able to learn.
[12] There may be bans on certain types of characters from being made to balance things out. If anyone makes a banned type of character without speaking to me first, that account will be deleted until the ban is up. then you can remake that character.
These rules can be updated at any time so if you don't recieve MASS PMs be sure to check up every once in a while.

12/22/08 okay so here's the deal. Since we are putting up bans on characters, a lot of already active members may want to make more than character. If you have a character and wish to make another, the first character must have at least ten in character posts on threads, not games. The same goes for your third, fourth, etc.

12/30/08 I have decided that 10 is an easy number to reach with your character. In order to make a new character, the previous one must have 20 posts in character threads.

1-2-09 As of today, this site is rated for roleplaying purposes as a moderate to intermediate roleplay. Every in character post in threads must be at least two paragraphs. anything less than that and you WILL be spoken to by myself or missy. This is to keep roleplaying at a standard in which actual stories can be made. Any new members who do not read the rules and post their first thread with only a sentence or two will automatically have their thread locked and moved and they will be warned.
